Clay

Join us for a clay class, we will take you step by step through the process of creating your own masterpiece from “the dirt” up.

What you will find in our studio

We have two different types of clay in our studio. Both will get your hand dirty and are super fun and easy with our help or your own skills.  Here is a little information regarding clay handbuilding

Wheel Throwing

Learn how to “throw” some clay into a one-of-a-kind piece of art on your very own by using a pottery wheel. Well, not totally on your own, one of our amazing ceramicists will demonstrate and help you thru the whole process. Wear some clothes you don’t mind getting a little dirty and hang in there it isn’t easy but it is lots of FUN. We have classes on most Friday and Saturday evenings. This type of art is best for kids 10 and older and adults. You can also reserve the wheels for your own private party.

Hand Building

What is Hand building? Well, it is an ancient pottery-making technique that involves creating forms without a pottery wheel. You use your hands, fingers, and simple tools. The most common hand building techniques are pinch pots, coil building, and slab building. We have lots of classes on our calendar. Join us for some step-by-step projects and get your hands in the dirt!

Discover your Artist!

Discover the artist within (yes, he/she is there!) our great staff members are available to help you. We have lots of fun ideas and tools to use to create your art masterpiece. You can use stencils, sponges, tape, silkscreens, vinyl, macaroni, stamps, and so much more!

Ready in 7 days

We will take care of your finished art after you leave, letting it dry, dipping in a clear food safe glaze if needed and cook it in one of our kilns and you can pick it up approximately 7 days later.

Let’s have a Party!

If you want to schedule a ceramics party, we can set you up in one of our party rooms. We do require a reservation of 8 for kids and 10 for adults and there is a $50 deposit required as well. Learn more about booking a party.
