Wheel Throwing – Vase @ The Art Bodega

Looking for a little more advanced wheel class? Come get your hands dirty and throw a 3-4lb vase!
In this wheel throwing class, learn the basics of working with clay on the wheel. You will learn the proper techniques and methods of keeping the clay piece centered and balanced as well as how to pull the clay up into a vase. Some experience is needed for this class. In order to get a successful piece you should have taken our beginners class first.
You will get 1 (one) vase that will have to dry and be fired and then you can come back and glaze however you would like.
We promise a funtastic time at our studio with a full bar available for our over 21 artists, we provide everything you need. We have juices, sodas and Jones Pure Cane Sugar soda, popcorn, chips and water available for a fee as well. We have great music and ambiance and we give you a step by step guide for this project. Please get here a little early (15 minutes or so) so you can grab a seat, a drink and settle in with your friends!
All of our teachers are trained artists. We can’t wait to see you and your friends at the next class!
If there are fewer than 5 registrants by 24 hours prior to the scheduled class time we have the right to cancel the event and offer the registrants either a class credit to be used on a future event or the materials and project instructions will be offered as a to go kit if applicable.
Rescheduling/Cancellation Policy: If you are no longer able to attend your reserved time-slot, a written request must be submitted via email to help@theartbodega.com In order to receive a class credit voucher, the request must be submitted in advance. Requests made within less than 48 hours prior to the class it will not be honored.
