Wheel Throwing 101 – 6 Week Course

Have you always wanted to get down and dirty and learn how to throw on the wheel for real?! Join us for this 6 week intensive wheel throwing clay class. In this is class you will learn the beginnings of throwing and trimming stoneware pottery. Each week builds upon the last, allowing you to progressively refine your skills. This workshop is designed for beginners or potters who want to improve their throwing skills.

Thursdays 6:30-9:00 starting November 7th 2024 and running through December 19th (The week of Thanksgiving 11/28 there will be no class)

Crushed Glass Trees and Resin Workshop

Are you looking to add some sparkle to your holidays?  We have a wonderful NEW workshop we call Crushed Glass Art.  You will have the opportunity to make from 1-3 4X12 Tree canvases at this easy and fun workshop.  WE will paint the canvases with just some background color and then add our crushed glass trees in lots of fun colors, we will then resin them and you will have to leave them overnight to let the resin cure before you can take them home.    They are so fun and beautiful and really do add a little glitz to your holiday decor.

You may create as many pieces as desired in the time of the class and any pieces you choose to keep will be fired and glazed in the color of your choice. You may come in any time during business hours for glazing for an additional charge of $5, no reservation required. ***Finished pieces include clay used, paint glazes used, and 2 firings at just $15 per piece.
