What you will find in our studio

We have two different types of pottery in our studio. Both are fun and easy to paint (glaze) with our help or your own skills. Here is a little information regarding the difference between the two.

Low Fire

What is low-fire pottery? It refers to the firing process that is done at a relatively low temperature (usually between 1800 and 2000 degrees) when fired in the kiln. We have literally hundreds of pieces of low fire pottery in the studio for you to paint with pottery glazes, everything from plates, bowls and mugs, to fun figurines and décor items. We provide lots of creative tools for you to use in creative your pottery masterpiece. We always have our wonderful staff of artists to help you with your creation.

High Fire

Stoneware is a type of non-porous ceramic dinnerware made from stoneware clay that is fired at a temperature between 2150 and 2330 degrees. This dinnerware, and home décor often has a thicker build than low fire pottery. The relatively high firing temperature, thick build, and mix of clay and vitreous ceramic materials all help to make stoneware a durable, hearty dinnerware option. The glazes available are fun and super creative and it is exciting to see what combinations of stoneware glazes you can come up with and a big surprise when they come out of the kiln.

Discover your Artist!

Discover the artist within (yes, he/she is there!) our great staff members are available to help you. We have lots of fun ideas and tools to use to create your ceramic masterpiece. You can use stencils, sponges, tape, silkscreens, vinyl, macaroni, stamps, and so much more!

Ready in 7 days

We will take care of your finished art after you leave, letting it dry, dipping in a clear food safe glaze if needed and cook it in one of our kilns and you can pick it up approximately 7 days later.

Let’s have a Party!

If you want to schedule a ceramics party, we can set you up in one of our party rooms. We do require a reservation of 8 for kids and 10 for adults and there is a $50 deposit required as well. Learn more about booking a party.
